I loved this hotel and would likely book it again on my next trip to Madrid. Walking distance to the Plaza Mayor, Museo del Prado, Plaza del Sol, Royal Palace of Madrid, etc. etc. And the street is literally full of great tapas restaurants. So the location can't be beat. Perfect location in the La Latina part of Madrid, with lots of tiny streets to explore. Staff is amazing and extremely helpful. Sadly this is where the good things end.\n\nWe got the penthouse ("one of our best rooms"), but while the room was bigger than expected, I can't really call it that. The bed, while big, had two mattresses instead of just one. We had two types of pillows: one was too hard,
Nice place to stay especially for the price. Great location between a few metro lines, making it easy to get anywhere in Madrid. The room was comfortable and big. Customer service was good, with the only detail being sometimes you have to walk next door to find the receptionist.
