I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, but never during the summer months. It turns out the hotel turns off the air conditioning at midnight and turns it back on at 7 a.m. When I asked the reception why, they told me it was because the noise bothers the neighbors. The problem is that you end up roasting in there. It was 34 degrees when I arrived, and I couldn’t sleep at all because
An old school hotel convenient for business trips close to downtown and Salamanca Madrid districts.
Things here are a little dated and ready for a refresh, but it’s quaint. One of my favorite aspects is the access to the metro (across the street).
