Booked this hotel as I was looking for a good location...price point and level of cleanliness. Location is perfect if you want to be close to the centre of Madrid, it's located in a nice little neighbourhood with loads of tabernas, bars, markets etc to visit. Room itself was one of the nicest rooms ive ever stayed in a hotel, room and bathroom were very modern and EXTREMELY clean. maids were lovel
Just had 3 nights at the hotel. Would highly recommend. We were extremely lucky to be able to access our room on arrival at 11am. Reading comments on here I requested a rear facing room, which was very quiet.\n\nHotel is a 10/15 minute easy walk to Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace. 30 minutes to Prado museum/park. So a great location. Super touristy but we loved the Plaza Mayor for dinner and
Rooms are extremely hot. Air conditioning in room was ineffective. Opened window which has no fly screen mesh, but road works were very noisy so had to keep it closed. Breakfast is very good. Location is great. Hotel lobby is lovely but the bedrooms seem so cheap. Cleaning staff were very sweet and friendly. All other staff seemed angry and abrupt.
