The NH Collection Palacio de Tepa in Madrid exceeded our expectations in every way, from the bellhop who greeted us at the door, to the reception staff and the restaurant staff. All the employees went out of their way to make our stay feel special. Reception arranged for a paella dinner and our waitress, Veronica, made us feel like family. Initially there was a small snafu with the communication between the hotel’s booking system and American Express, whom we booked with, but the staff resolved the issue and made sure we were next door to a family member upon request! The buffet breakfast in the morning was worth the upgrade as well with very fresh options.
