Hotel details

The location and price is great. The hotel is basic. There is a small elevator. They don't heat the lobby or halls in the winter. The heat in my room is adequate.\n\nMy double bed is firm foam. Not bad. The room is clean and well lit. There is street noise like all of Madrid. Make sure your windows are closed. The towels are ruff, but clean. No face cloths. There is no problem with the water press

4 nights which were the worst ever nights in any hotel I have ever been. Bed and pillows a decade old, toilets where you don't fit, windows that don't shut, unkind staff who have to live with constant unhappy costumers, funny smell at reception, if neighbor's room flushes toilet it seams the wall is gonna fall off... Extremely clean, not modern but well kept, so close to plaza de España... Some noise from the road but this is well controlled by the double glazed windows, air conditioning and polite personnel, the only down side is internet, available only at ground floor.
