Hotel was in an excellent location -can't get much closer to the heart of Madrid. Staff was great! The hotel rooms were comfortable, clean and the AC was able to keep the room cool in the 30 degree plus weather.

Two members of our group had their wallets and cash stolen from their room, even though the door was locked. When we reported it to the hotel staff at the front desk, their response was very dismissive—implying that the items were probably just forgotten somewhere. They repeatedly insisted that the hotel held no responsibility.\n\nWe were very disappointed by the lack of empathy and accountability

So the location was great as far as being near things to do, but when it came to sleeping, holy crap what a horrible location. It never got quiet. People never stopped being loud and the room got so damn hot and we couldn't open the window cus it made the noise so much worse. Rooms were not bad and staff was friendly enough but the noise!!
