We had a wonderful stay at the Catalonia Gran Via Hotel , a truly great place with so much to offer. The rooms were beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, blending comfort with modern design. I especially loved the unique bunk beds tucked on the side of the room , a fun and practical touch for the kids.\n\nThe bathroom was another highlight: spacious, with an excellent shower and even a body dryer

I’m here now on my second day. Thankfully, I leave tomorrow. Today, there is no cold water. Just scalding hot. And the toilet won’t flush at all. I’m waiting for the second person to try to fix it. Our view is a cargo net full of debris. I’ll be back to Madrid, but I won’t stay here.\n\nI should note that the staff is very nice. But I'd trade that for 21st century plumbing.
